THE 10u CINCINNATI RIVERBATS SUCCESSFULLY ENDED THE 2008 SEASON THIS PAST WEEKEND BY WINNING THEIR SECOND CONSECUTIVE "CINCINNATI WORLD SERIES"

AND RECORDING THEIR 40th WIN.

The 10u Riverbats spent this past week in Southaven Mississippi at the NABF World Series Classic. After taking a couple games to get their bats hot, the boys ended up beating the #1 seed (Northern Alabama Sharks) after pool play 8-0 and then lost their semi-final game 9-8 to Team Colliersville out of Tennessee on a couple contraversial calls at the plate.

The 10u Bats finished the World Series in 3rd place.

As a result of their unbelievable play this year, the 10u Bats have been offered an invite into the ELITE 24 USSSA World Series at Orlando Florida in August.

The 10u Bats came up a little short this weekend and wound up getting 3rd place in the very competitive Dublin Memorial Day tournament . The Bats ended their incredible run of 3 straight Tournament Championships. The Bats were the #1 Seed after pool play and then beat the host team 7-6 in the quarterfinal game before losing in the semi-'s 2-0 . Congrats on a great weekend boys!!

The 10u Riverbats continued their winning ways this past weekend by winning the "2008 Cincy Flames Tournament of Champions." The 10u Bats battled through some stiff competition in pool play and then won the Championship Game 14-5. The Bats pounded out 14 hits , utilized 4 pitchers, and played great defense to finish the tourney on top. This was the second tourney win for the Bats in 2008 after winning the Midwest USSSA World Series Qualifier
