The Cincinnati Riverbats baseball organization is a non-profit organization providing opportunities for tri-state area youth to learn the game of baseball and play at the highest level of competition. A member of the Southwest Ohio League and affiliated with numerous baseball sanctioning bodies, Riverbats teams have won numerous tournament championships over the past couple seasons and look forward to 2012 and beyond.

2012 Recent Riverbat Highlights

Week Prior to 5/7/12

13U

The 13u Riverbats went 5-0, winning 3 games on Sunday to capture the Championship at the Flash Early Bird Shootout, May 5-6th. As a team the Bats hit well over 500 for the tournament. Currently the 13u Riverbats are 20-5.

Week Prior to 4/23/12

10U

The 10u Riverbats finished 2nd in the Hunter Early Bird Tournament. They lost the first game then went on to win the next five games to climb back to the Championship. After a back & forth game they lost in the bottom of the 6th on a day that they played four games in 45 degree & rainy conditions.

Week Prior to 4/16/12

The 8U Riverbats showed up to the Wolves Tournament "Spring Shootout" in Findlay OH, ready to play. The Bats went on to win the Championship game 14-2. Nice job guys!

Week Prior to 4/1/12

13U

The 13u Riverbats went 4-1 in the Pre-Season Open tournament at Pastime Park to kick off the 2012 season. The Riverbats lost a heartbreaker in a 9 inning Championship game 5-4. The tournament director stated during the awards that this was the best and most exciting 13u game he had ever witnessed.
