Plains Jr. Field Work Day on Oct. 2nd The 5 Riverbats teams (8U-12U) that utilize the Plains Jr. school field for practices and games have a work day planned for Saturday, Oct. 2nd, 8am-12 noon. Even if you can only spare an hour or so, your help is appreciated. Back-up date is Oct. 16th. |

Riverbats Win the Nations Spring Swing NCI The Bats went 2-0 in pool play and earned the #1 seed going into the Championship bracket. In the semi-finals, the Bats defeated Storm Dog Baseball 11-0 to advance to the Championship game. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate and the Bats were awarded the Championship based on seeding. |

Riverbats Finish 3rd in the Nations Baseball OH State Championships The team compiled a 4-0 record in pool play before falling to the Mansfield Mudhens in the semi's 6-4. The Grove City Windsor Park is a great facility for baseball. The boys played hard and got to experience playing some baseball after midnight due to weather delays. |

Riverbats Finish 4th in Cincinnati Flames Summer Classic The Riverbats lost in the semi-finals to the Germantown Giants (Memphis, TN) after posting a 8-7 win over the West Virginia Baseball team in the Quarterfinals. The team played 6 games in 4 days over the Memorial Day weekend. This was a great experience for the boys as they were able to play teams from Tennessee, Illinois, West Virginia, Indiana, and Kentucky. |

Riverbats finish 2nd in the SWOL sub-regional The Riverbats played some great baseball to reach the Championship game. The team played 4 games on the final day of the tournament and fell to a very good Flames baseball team. Great job boys! |
